Quote of the day :)

"YOUTH have exalted notions because they have not yet been humbled by life or learned its necessary limitations….. They would always rather do noble deeds than useful ones; their lives are governed more by feeling than by reasoning….. All their mistakes are in the direction of doing things excessively and vehemently….. They love too much….. They hate too much….. They think they know everything….. that is why they overdo everything….."

-- Aristotle (384 – 322 b.c.)

3 years!!

3 Years....wow...time flies....

Yes...today is like my 3rd anniversary since I join YWAM Singapore as a full time staff. It have been an amazing journey with Father God...it was fun, interesting, hard and challenging..but yet...I could say "God is good ALL the time" Especially this year has been the most amazing year....Go Fest and all that God is doing in Asia...just stand in awe when you get to be part of the bigger picture that God is doing in the world, Asia...through Singapore..through YWAM and through me. I totally convinced that now is ASIA time!! to take on the baton' from other generation to carry on the unfinished work from East to West....back to where it all started....

Ok! here some of my update.... =)

Yepz....after Go Fest...now I still can't believe that I'm very busy from one thing to another. yeah...though the conference went really well and heard lots of great testimonies out of the conference...but we still have to do a follow up work and also getting ourselves ready for the next wave in 2008 (more info to come) so as I prayed...I finally decided not to go away from Singapore (just not yet) I was planning to go away some where to take other courses....but I don't think it's a right time for me then...so I'm staying.. rather I make up my mind to be involve in local church here even more... as I tested the water for quite some times.... Now I really get into it... I'm currently helping out in Youth Worship and Music Ministry in PLMC to provide a spiritual mentoring and equipping the youth who serve in worship ministry to grow spiritually as well as skillfully...to be true worshipper for God first before leading others to worship. It isn't easy task...but I think it quite challenging and it's in my very heart to impart the passion for worhipping God into young people of next generation. So pray for me as well....I'm a rookie here...need lots of prayer from you guys.... Thank you!

Back in YWAM office, I carry on in Go centre (mobilisation team) doing mission mobilisation among the churches here in Singapore. Leading short term teams, training and stuffs.. also I need to work on communication side for the office as well, which is all the websites which now we are expanding our ministry...so as our website...yeah...busy again....

I'm expecting to go to Myanmar for a week in October..still in the process of setting up the team with the local church. it would be another accomplishment of mine since Myanmar is the only country remain in Mekong region which I never get into yet. So do pray for me as well that the Lord will open door for me this time round. (It's my 2nd attempt to Myanmar since last year)

About us.... =)

My relationship with Joy has been good...(I mean it's GREAT!) We getting to know each other pretty much, we share our joys, struggles and challenges together. I know it's still a long journey for both of us....but yeah...I'm excited. Recently she just graduated from NUS. Now she's taking temporary job as she's still waiting to do an internship with church. So pray for her as well would be greatly appreciate. I also managed to had dinner with her family on Singapore National day (Aug 9th) so it was a breakthrough for me somehow...at least i know they didn't reject me. It truly the favour from the Lord...Thank papa God!!

Also this year end, we are planning to bring her cell group over to Chiang Mai for mission exposure trip. So it would be an opportunity for me to introduce her properly to my family, friends and supporters back in Thailand. So do pray for us as well...

Lastly, I just want to appreciate all of you friends....who have been faithfully in prayer and supporting me to continue doing what I am doing here all these years... Thank You!!! i can't wait to meet you guys in person and say Thank YOU!!! really....from the depths of my heart.

I also want to take this opportunity to invite all of you to consider supporting me in terms of Finance as well...as most lof you knew that I serve in YWAM on voluntary basis without salary. So I do need regular support for my daily needs as well as ministry purpose. So I would like to invite you to pray and ask the Lord if you could be part of my financial supporter that would be great...but no worry if you couldn't effort to do that....just your prayer for me each day simply make my day awesome!!!

Just want to share something very personal here...that living in Singapore never been easy for me...as some of you know...the cost of living here it so much expensive from where I came from..there are times when I just don't have enough money for just to buy food or taking a bus. But God is still so good....His kindness has been showed to me in different ways...many lessons I learnt from Him in such a time as these....I'm grateful....also at the back my minds...I always know that soembody pray for me....i could sense it....and that's what keep me going on serving the Lord....i know I'm doing what God wants me to do...and that drives me... "PURPOSE" without God's grace I most probably no where....no one... Thank you Lord!!!

So.....for your sake...I will summarize my prayer request for you ya!
1. For my walk with God that will always strong and healthy despite all busyness.
2. For my ministries, in Youth worship ministry of the church and in YWAM Singapore.
3. For the possible trip to Myanmar in October as well as trip home to Chiang Mai with my girlfriend.
4. For our relationships that will truly honouring God and set an example to others.
5. For God's provision in my life.....I do need about S$800/month to survive here.
6. For salvation of my family back in Thailand. I believe as I serve the Lord faithfully, He will honours me by taking care of my family back home.

Till Asia is filled with God's Glory!
Blessed.
Brother Tee.

2 Timothy 2 (NIV)
1You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. 3Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs—he wants to please his commanding officer. 5Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. 6The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. 7Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.

8Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, 9for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. 10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

11Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him,
we will also live with him;
12if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13if we are faithless,
he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
